When you’re studying, playing a PC game, or working a desk job, you spend hours sitting in front of your computer. Here’s what you need to do to have a correct sitting posture:
When you sit up on your chair, make sure that your hips are pushed back as much as you can in the chair. You also need to make sure that seat height is appropriate. First, test the chair. You need both feet flat on the floor and knees just a bit lower than your hips. Make sure that both your upper and lower back are well supported. Find a good office chair with lumbar support. When you’re looking to achieve correct sitting posture, remember to position your keyboard correctly. The first thing you need to do is to align the keyboard with the middle of your body. Then, think about its height. The best keyboard height is when both your wrists and hands are straight, your shoulders are relaxed, and your elbows are slightly open. Your mouse or trackpad should be near the keyboard.
The monitor position also influences correct sitting posture. The monitor should be centered in front of you, just above the keyboard. The top of the monitor should be about 2 or 3 inches above your eyes when you’re sitting. The distance between you and the monitor should be one arm’s length.

Taking small breaks while you’re on your computer is a good way to release muscle tension. By standing and stretching or walking around the office it releases accumulated tension of long hours sitting in front of the computer.
As a rule of thumb, you should take a 5-minute break every hour or a 2-minute break every half an hour.
